Founder & Head of School
Telisha L. Hollamon is an education leader and nonprofit founder serving as the Founder and Head of School of Regeneration Academy of Arts, a mission-driven academy focused on college- and career-ready outcomes through arts-integrated, student-centered learning. She provides executive leadership for academic programming, school operations, community partnerships, and strategic growth .
Telisha holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Education, both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and brings over 20 years of experience in education, spanning secondary and higher education. She has expertise in instructional leadership, program development, student re-engagement, and community-based education initiatives .
Her work centers on expanding access to high-quality learning opportunities for students who have been historically underserved or disengaged by traditional education systems. Under her leadership, Regeneration Academy of Arts advances second-chance education pathways, dropout recovery efforts, and workforce-aligned learning experiences, while leveraging the arts to support academic achievement and whole-child development .
Telisha is deeply committed to community engagement and educational equity, building strong partnerships with families, community organizations, faith-based institutions, and corporate stakeholders. Her leadership emphasizes accountability, measurable impact, and long-term sustainability .
Telisha lives in Springville, Alabama, with her family and enjoys partnering with various community programs that support youth development and educational opportunity.
